In the context of the efforts by the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities to promote Japanese tourism to the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Egyptian Tourism Authority invited Dr. Zahi Hawass, the renowned Egyptian archaeologist and one of the most prominent figures in this field globally, to Japan to deliver lectures on his latest archaeological discoveries. Dr. Hawass conducted lectures at Waseda University, Komazawa University, and Nagoya University, respectively.
